    Pod Piles

I can't find info anywhere else on them... So I have a lot of LR rubble. Should I pile it up in a back corner and let it accumulate copepods? Wouldn't that effectively create a dead zone? How do I build a pod pile and still feed my tank the proper current?

The water will circulate through and around the rubble. A lot of people put the pieces in a plastic basket like you'd get produce in. The basket holds the rubble together and lets the pods have a place to grow without being preyed on. You could even put a piece of 2" PVC pipe under the basket like http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/co...s-135-gal-Reef and avoid any dead spots.
