I'm using DreamWeaver CS3. I am new to all this. But I up load my site and then go to see it and nothen has changed. I'm up loading it with FTP. So I don't know if that helps out much just ask away and I'll try to answer all I can.
I went over to the adobe site. Flowed there steps for uploading and upload all the files in to it's own folder. Then went to go check the Cpanale and saw everything upload fine. But my site still have changed at all. Now I did some playing around and nothen didn't happen and I still cant find the index.html file to change it to my index file.
Ok I found out what I did wrong was I didn't have it save in the HomeRoot: /home folder. But now I get a upload error saying that I can't upload to the folder. That access is denied.
That was were I was sending it the first time. I re uploaded every thing. Uploaded fine but the home page site is still the same like I did even upload anything. I went to Cpanle to see if the files were there and they are.
ok.. you have a 2 main areas
/home/kan
and
/home/kan/public_html
the stuff that thats available from the internet (all your web page file) need to be in the public_html folder
items in the /home/kan folder are in whats referred to as a "web protected" area. this is a safe place for you to store files and info you dont want available to people on the internet. its only accessible through the cPanel and FTP

Ok I don't know what I did with that one. I change all my piks in to there own folder with Dreamweaver and it changed all the links for the picks to the new folder. They still don't show up I even tried changing the type of pik.
Now that weird I don't see them at all with Firefox, IE, or SeaMonkey. Now when I open it with IE I get a blank box. Long as some one say their there that fine for me I know what it should look like.
again Rob. I checked the site out on my other PC and it works fine. I think it might have some thing to do with my firewall on my main PC. Thanks for all the help.
