Hello,
While I am considered the computer geek of the family I am not very versed on HTML. Do I need this knowledge to build this website? I have another program that I used to build a website for my wife. Do I need to use a program like this or is there one built into the package?
Thanks
Jack
well, it depends on what type of site you want to built.
if you want something simple like a full photo gallery and/or a blog, those are pre-packaged and included.
to try some of them, go into your control panel (siteworx)
and under services on the left, you will see scriptworx
in here you will see the various packages that are available for quick install.
feel free to google them to get to there main home product pages and you can see what they are like.

When I try to load a program to cabbagehead.talkingreef.com it comes back with the message " There was an error loading the script" The web page now says
"Error...Your userfile is not writeable.
Thanks

That is weird. Come to think of it I did have access to my account yesterday at some point. I don't remember which computer I was on.
I think it has to do with that DNS stuff that Rob did... when he did it to the website, it took FW about 12 hours to get back on, and only a few for me.
I don't understand the DNS stuff, so I don't know how it works and why it takes so long.

it took longer than 12 hours in reality. i locked onto a neighbor's signal and came back on in 12, but my own provider took like about 28 hours.
