Gluing Orange Digitata
A fellow reefer gave me a
frag of orange digitata. I though I had gel super glue at home but I can't find it. Can I use regular super glue? Or can I attach it to the piece of coral rubble I have with rubber bands? Thanks.

regular super glue just doen't have enough consistency for me, especially on rubble. don't use rubberband, it'll cause irritation and tissue die-off. put it in a cup until you get the gel.

Like just a cup of water sitting by itself or in a cup in the tank? Will it be OK until tomorrow or should I run to Wally World?

It will be fine until tomorrow. I have used regular super glue before but, gel is easier.

I actually ran to the grocery store that is about 5 miles away and they just had regular. Wal mart is like 15 miles away. So I can just pick up some tomorrow after church.

make sure you dry the rubble and
frag , water will activate the gel and cause it to harden quickly without sticking.

OK. I will pull the piece of rubble out tonight and let it dry. Then tomorrow when I get the glue it will be nice and dry.

Paper towels work fine for pat drying.
