i picked up this
live rock the other day from a
LFS around here... this little guy was on it... and i may be in the wrong section but i was wondering if anyone could help me ID this and tell me a little about what i need to do to keep 'em alive...

Hmm. Pretty neat looking whatever it is. Maybe a badly receded galaxia?

I don't think it's a galaxea because it doesn't have the required pointy corallites..... but I don't know what it is...

it has these little tenticle type things that come out of it as you can kind of see as the tiny white dots on the pic... but its kind of hard to the touch... its not soft or anything...

If I honestly had to guess I would have to say it was a cup coral... Or somethign like a cup which is more colonial..... lemme see if I can find it.
