coral help

Not sure what kind of coral this is, I just got back from the lfs I picked up my first coral he said they are pretty hardy corals, I told him about my lighting situation which is T5 coralife strip and he sold me this Trumpet coral its a mint green in color looking so are these pretty hardy? thanks for your time all help on this would be good id like to see what all you have to say.............Shaun

oh and he said to leave my lights on 10 -14 hrs per day, that sound right?

does it look like these, but green ?? if so then T5's should be fine for it. how many bulbs and watts and what size tank ?? keeping up with everyones tanks is hard to do.

Thanks, that is it for sure are these lps,sps, or softies? I am new to this, I am using a cheap corallife T5 strips my tank is 29 gallons. I am not sure on the wattage, but does 10-14hours sound right? would the bulbs say ?

they are LPS corals, and i would shoot for around 10 hours per day. a coral does 95% of its feeding (photosythisis) in the first 3-4 hours of the lights being on, but wattage would really be helpful in this case.
