Just got back from Robs Reef about an hour ago and have finally put my corals in the tank. I got a small bird nest frag, an acropora formosa frag, a super neon green Hydnopora and a squamosa clam. Rob has so many corals I couldn't believe it. Hes a real nice guy too. If you need anything I am sure you can just ask. I told him about talking reef and he seemed interested. Hopefully he will become a sponsor sometime as well. Anyways you can check out his site here www.robsreef.com He has way more corals than are listed on the website too! I will post some picks as soon as they become well acclimated.
and if they are interested in sponsoring, have him email/PM me and i will send the advertising package to him for review..
thanks for promoting the site and show..

Here is a new pick of the Acropora Formosa in the first pick . He used to be dark green/blue, he is now light blue with babyblue tips and green polyps...These t-5's really make sps color up nicely.
They are both doing great in my tank and have both let down their hair (got fuzzy hairs) .They are really nice looking corals.. My first Millies. I have a question about my Hydnophora in the foreground... Just how far should I keep these corals seperated from one another? can the hydnophora sting a coral adjacent to it without touching it? Just curious... I heard the Hydnophora are mean..
they do have a mean sting, but it involves contact.
i would give it a few inches of breathing room.
whats more important is make sure that no other frags "fall" on it, or vise-vera
i had the happen, and my hydnophora stung the heck outta one of my Montipora Caps

cool I will keep that in mind, I think they will be fine where they are at right now and the Hydno is on a rock that can easily be relocated if need be.
Just uploaded some more pics... Hope you like em. All corals kept under T-5'S 4x24W Tek fixture.
Pink and Green Millepora
Some type of super green acro.tips of growth are yellow. its really pretty ..Yongi?? Big polyps.... Anyone have any idea? See the brown spots? That is a Hydnophora Coral burn... I have since relocated the Hydno and moved the emerald crab (bulldozer) into my sump.
Not really sure what this coral is either... any ideas? it's doing great however and has been fragged twice. Tips are bright purple.
My tank is a 37g oceanic, the tank is 21 inches high but I with the sand it is only 16-18 inched from waterline to sand, the SPS corals are between 4-7 inches from the lights. The lights sit almost right on top of the tank. I have some wood from lip to lip, fore/aft that I use to hold the lights up... It looks almost seemless. Glad you like the picks..
