thats the name.. darn.. i racked my brain all after noon trying to remember that...
but yes, you are right it might be Pavona sp also
The hydnophona has a tendancy to grow more in a branching patern, and the Pavona tends to form more plate like structures. by that i mean they are wide and thin, not plating like Echinopora or a M. Capricornus just more side branches..
i actually have kept both of these. there appearance can vary but in my specimens the overall structure was the same. the Hydnophora has a mean sting but mine never had long sweepers, where the Pavona has a men sting and very long sweepers, but seem to only let them out in defense not for feeding

i have a pavona that looks a lot like that, but the color is a little different (we all know that means nothing though).
after doing a google search ... i am going with your ID on it. i got some images, but only one or two had the longer polyps.

Hey thanks guys you helped me identify the last coral I have in the prop... donated by some guy breaking down his system. He said he found it in his sump and didn't even know what it was... it's a green hydnophora!
