Anacropora puertogalerae

hey guys, i want to gather as much info on Anacropora puertgalerae as possible.
has anyone kept this zone specific species? it seems easier sourceing the animal than keeping it!
any info would be helpful, im actualy finding it difficult getting onto a reliable source for info.

and Acropora loripes while we're reaching out for info!

Wow. Beautiful corals, V. I've never kept them but, will check my library and see what I come up with. Nice!

Well, V, You've got some rarities there. The only thing I can find in the 3 book set, Corals of the World, is that Anacropora puertgalerae is uncommon and the other, while common, didn't have much to say about it. Do you have these corals in your possion?

thanks guys, im at work at the moment, so'i'll definately check the links out latter tonight!

and to answer your question Amp, no i dont have these yet, as soon as i can off-load the marine fish i'll set up a turf war just for these two species! (the offload includes that damn trigger that the misses is putting up a huge fight not to remove>i might never be able to remove that fish, might have to live in the sump...lol

getting these are from asia, namely philip>japan areas. so its definately an import job, i'd need to speak to cairns marine first though to confirm this!
im not saying its going to be easy to conquer & devide, but id like to gain that extra bit of knowledge so i can continue the love of the hobby whilst self sustaining its own costs! rarer species are my tickle from my standpoint. all animals are lovely, although im content looking at most of them through some elses glass! hopefully the info u guys provided can get me across the line!
thanks again

thanks guys, had a chance to check those links. good thing is it appears to be in our waters, bad thing is from a medium distance Anacropora looks like a bunch of sticks, which i found quite amuzing! they look quite beautiful and fragile close up though! funny ....ive toyed in that web site many times before, but totally forgot about it!
thanks u guys!
