I think I have baby corals growing

I have spotted some coral growing on the inlet valve of my fuge. It looks like it has small poylps. It kinda looks like procillipora. I took a picture and will try to post it. It is so small I don't know if you can see it, but I'll try. I think that my coral spawned, not sure.

Mine just did the same thing... I think I remember Rob talking about this, but I see baby green porcillipora in a few spots!! Kinda cool in some ways, but when they pick the spot on their own, that's not so good!!

I love when our corals do things like this. I makes us think we are progressing in the hobby. It will be fun to watch it grow. How long ago did yours spawn?

I just noticed this about a week ago. One of them is in a bad place- like millimeters from another SPS... so are they easy to remove if I must?

WOW, that's fantastic. Keep us informed as to the growth progress.

I bought a Branching Hammer coral at IMAC this April only to have it slowly disintegrate one head at a time through 5 heads. It was brown jelly disease. Two heads survived. About a month ago I noticed new little polyps growing from the dead heads. Sure enough, here are the pictures. I've counted eleven new little hammers. I love this hobby!

There's at least three above.

There's four in this pic.

Gwen, Congrats to you too. Have you taken pics of your little offspring frag?

Cool stuff.

Dick

I don't yet know how easy they will be to move. Some of mine are in very good places. And I will look forward to watching them grow. A few are on the back glass of my tank. I'm wondering if it will be enough light? The one on the inlet should have plenty of light.
