Dragonwolf is an unknown quantity at this point
Moving Mushrooms (Discosoma)

One of the first soft corals I bought was a 6" pc. of live rock covered with green Discosoma mushrooms. Very healthy, and now they are propagating various parts of my tank (125 gal.) Great, except a couple of them are in a cave which doesn't get much light and I can see they're not doing well. Can I move them? How would I get them in better light without harming them --or-- should I just let them be and see if they release and move themselves?

Welcome to TR, Dragonwolf.

I'd just leave them. They got into the cave on their own. They should be able to get out. They will seek the light they need. Removing them could harm their peddledisk (foot?) and not recover.

i would also just leave them, and let them move on their own. as Dick said ... they will move to the light that they want if it is in the general area that they are in.
