You both probably mean Nephthea.
I've had one for about 3 months now, seems to be doing OK considering I've found it very difficult to feed. Size M rotifers seemed to work but they're almost impossible to find, usually expensive (when shipped to Canada) and get consumed/lost quite quickly in a mixed reef compared to the more typical Size L rotifers.
I've relied on
phytoplankton which coaxes out and feeds misc. zooplankton already in the tank, same as most people do with
Sarcophyton sp. (toadstool & elegance leathers). I'm hoping this will be enough nutrition for it in the long term (in addition to light of course) given that microscopic examinations indicate they are quite voracious eaters compared to Sarcophyton.
It's grown but not as fast as I'd expect compared to other softies in my tank but I've trimmed it once, taking 2 branches off, and it healed insanely fast and produced new polyps on the stumps within days so I'm assuming its healthy.
