john was moving our brown leather the other day & noticed there's a hole on the bottom as if something had been chewing on it. any advice on how to treat it? it hasn't been opening up in days, that's why we moved it into the 40 gal.
i would just observe it and give it some time. leathers are very good at healing themselves. make sure you don't end up transfering the pest with the coral.
yes, first check for pests that light be eating on it, but i have noticed that when they are not happy, the base seems to be where recession starts..
keep an eye on it and make sure you are meeting lighting, feeding and current needs
