good...i was a little worried
the other thing....i have tried to spot feed it, but it doesn't seem to take anything.......i feed the fish in that area, cause of the openness.....will it get enough filter food from that? (even though i have read conflicting thoughts on feeding them)

ricordias will take food when ready. don't force it. it is a very simple organism that is extremely hardy once settled down. a recordia can survive weeks without any feeding.

About 15 minutes after I feed the fish, my ricordeas will have a different look and I know that they are feeding. The polyps kinda enlarge is the best way to describe it.
Wendy- I think it's normal and just going to the bathroom

sure its...
and ok, if it was brown, they i would say it is likely purging, and this is normal.
if you see it on a regular basis, it can be an indicator that they are getting too much food, and you might need to adjust your feeding habits
