I have no clue but it looks kind of like an emerald crab.

There is no elevator to success in marine tanks. You have to take the stairs.

HE is about 1 1/2 inch but of this his body is only one third, his claws are masive on the sides of its body feeds only on floating particles and stays by the filter intake all the time. he has molted twice since i dicovered him(i only clean that intake montly) but i don't think it is an emerald ,i guess we will find out.i will keep you posted.

looks kinda cool. As long as he stays away from the fish and corals down in the filter I wouldnt worry.

I have three possible suggested types. I will do a little more research to see if I can't find out more for you.

    1) Purple Porcelain crab (long shot but coloration pattern could match)
    2) red Burrowing crab.
    3) seems the most likely of the list. A strawberry Crab. (like a emerald crab but a redish-Pink hue)

I had a strawberry crab that I got as a hitchhiker, well I think it was a strawberry crab..really red and looked like yours, but he was very nocturnal, he never did anything bad (that I know of), He was fun to see when the moons were on.
