I just purchased my Sea Hare and noticed that his Anus has a distinct white coloration. This is not the shell on the top of his body. Is this normal or has anyone seen this before?

You are right dillan. Sea Hares don't have a shell. I've never seen one with shell. That's why I asked for a picture.

Jason...not knowing a sea hare personally I'd have to see one moving to tell
I was looking at getting one for my hair algae but wouldn't want to hang on to it forever. A store around here had one for $40 and I jokingly asked if I could rent it...but they didn't find the humor in it!

Bbl_nk this is probably not cost effective since your all the way in California, but I would have offered to ship mine to you on loan if you wanted to pay shipping both way. Probably better of finding someone near you.
