bad worm?

Im trying to get a pic
first battery was dead, now worm will not uncurl, not even sure if I can get a good pic. I will try to describe in case it is plainly obvious to anyone.

Found it on a rock. Orange with a brown section in the middle. about 1/2 inch. many thread-like tentacles on one end.

Doesn't look good to me, maybe a recent hitchhiker.

If it looks like this, do not get rid of it. It is one of the best burrowing worms for sand beds.

Post a picture when you can.

You know what, I thought that might have been what it was. I have tons in my sand bed, but I only see the tentacles. sometimes, when moving sand around, I see sort of a sandy body, but this guy had me confused, he was on a rock and completely clean! I put the little guy back!!
