My new mantis

I put a pic of him up in my nano thread, but i wanted to show him (her?) off to the folks that might not wade through page after page of me chattering about my nano.

Here he/she is. I'm hoping for a positive ID over on the mantis forum of RC.

And here is a piece of trivia I was reading recently. What creature are mantis shrimp most closely related to?

Its is a pitty we dont have the same congealing talent numbers as that board, not that we dont have our panel of experts here,(love you guys) we are just abit younger in the world of reef boards thats all! . But S@#T loads more relaxed, social & open to everyone! Which makes all the difference in my mind!
They dont call us TR junkies for nothin!

Thanks V. It's funny, in under a week, there are no more stomatella in my nano. Guess the litle guy was hungry

I fully agree Re: TR vs RC. I much prefer hanging out here. I mostly confine myself to my local clubs forum on RC unless I need some specific help I can't find here. It shows in that i have 772 post here in 11 months and 630 on RC in 22 months

Yes sir!

They are native to California, is it illegal to catch them? I guess it would be harder than crabbing since they are smarter than a crab.
