One of my hermit crabs got mugged!

I have a question: does anyone know if hermit crabs (scarlet reef) are capable of re-growing limbs?
Apparently after he got done molting one of my cleaner shrimp stole one his claws and a leg, all on one side. He seems ok, he can’t get around the tank like he use to but he eats and seems normal. Poor guy...

When I hand moved my CBS one of his spikes got caught in my hand. He gave a yank and I han an arm. He sure became mean during the one-armed period. Killed more critters than he ever had before.
