Is it YOUR critter... or for a SaxKid?
And you... you are a tease! I want a MANTIS...
Unfortunately, the
LFS around here don't stock them. The ONLY deca's that I see are the "oops I have an ugly brown or green mantis that I need to get out of my tank".

No... it has to do with something LIKE the Brady Bunch....but this one is a Salty Bunch...
Greg was lucky enough to find a gal who is into the hobby...now, he's got the fraglets interested... there is going to be more water coursing through that house than air!

Greg's daughter has a mantis she calls the swimming pickle.
I was trying to make a color reference to mine but I was actually way off (like I usually am with the darn test kits) and I should have called him a swimming mango.
I don't think he quite believes me that this will be a good place to live. He's not enjoying his
QT tank.

It's that simple. The Chiragra hasn't even had a filter since the move but now just has a little airline.
These are very undemanding critters. Hardy. Friendly. Simple needs! Heck ya don't even have to feed them but a three times a week.
I don't know how interactive the orange one is.... I haven't ID'd him yet. Hopefully he's not a reclusive.
