what feed slugs Hi
does anybody of you have experience with opistobranchs/cephalaspideae/aglajidae? I need feed for such a slug called Chelidonura sandrana. I know that they feed on microturbellarians.
Now my question:
Where can I get microturbellarians commercially?
What else do they feed?
Where can I get it?
Does anybody have a clue?
I dont have time to grow them on my own so I have to buy them.
I would apreciate help very much.
Johannes

Wow... nice
nudi ...
Microturbellaria? Aren't they a flatworm themselves? I need to look it up. Most of us reef keepers fear worms... and probably wouldn't know where to get them commercially. Let me do a little poking around...you may have to approach various zoology departments at universities with this inquiry.

Seems as if there is a Dr. L.R.G. Cannon at the Queensland Museum who is familiar with Microturbellaria. Have you any resources there?

Thanks David for these good hints,
fortunately it seems to be possible to hold flatworms found in the sediment. If this is the case I dont have to buy any which I would prefer.
However I will have a look on the pages you told me.
thanks

Johannes,
Yes, luckily for you, it seems (through my reading) that you are on a "hot bed" of supply in the sands and muds of your own waters.
Best of luck!
Dave
