ok i just bought a emerald crab. shortly after aclimation i put him on the sand bed and he went straight to the green hair algae i have, i was so happy.. however my maroon clown, 6 line wrasse, and scooter blenny all began snapping at the crab. he shot off into the corner and hasnt moved. i know he is still alive and not going to die but should i worry about the fish snapping at him? or maybe even killing him? i have read they are reef safe but are they fish safe?
i dont think i have to worry about it he found a hole and i havnt found him yet. i hope hes ok. ive been waking up at night and sneaking up to the tank and see nothing. my lunars are fairly bright but no sign

they can hide for a while sometimes.....especially if they are molting.
He will be out. Both of mine come out once during the day (usually right after feeding the tank) and then they come out an hour after sundown weither the moon is out or not.
I love to watch mine, but if they see me coming they stop and sit still for a while. And if I continue to move around alot they go back and hide. Come to think of it, most of my friends do the same thing!
lol huh thats strange central ohio southeastern ohio, we might have the same friends lol
this morning i woke up early and did alittle navy seal tactics and i did see him he was going after my hair algae like he had 5 minutes to live (i love him for that) i took a few pictures but none turned out good. maybe i can get some tomorrow morning lol
but to tell you the truth, its hard to get black stuff off my face!!!
