Oh, how interesting a catch is that, Victoria? Nice picture, too. He doesn't look like a Monte eating nudi to me. The Monti eating nudi's I had a few years ago were really tiny, less than 1/4" long. What length is this guy?

It's about a 1/4 inch. But if you look real close you can see one even smaller down and to the right. It was by chance I saw it. I always look to make sure everthing is in order. It was on a dark background of wire algea. I said (to myself) What is that? Then I took it out because I could catch it. I don't think I will put it back. I have more pic if you need them.

I think the little neat things we run accross in our tanks are so cool, it keeps me in awe of our world. However, your decision to not put these back into your system is probably wise. Along with the good comes the bad, occasionally. I did see the ofher speck in your pic but thought it to be a copopod.

I think I found out what kind it is. It's a Zoo eating kind. I will watch out for more in my tank, and remove them as I see them. Does anyone know of a type of fish that will eat them?
Thanks Carmiejo, I put it in a cup and took the picture in sunlight. Macro setting with my Nikon 4800.

Well I have a postive ID. If left alone long enought they will advance to thier food source. I caught some of them on my Zoo's and also some egg casings. That's the bad news... Now the good news.. My cleaner shrimp has been observed eating them. I love this cleaner shrimp because he/she eat bristle worms too! I saw the cleaner picking and eating these nudibranchs. All fair in the small box of water in my living room. LOL
