subscriptions & email notifcations

rob, im working most the time, so i havn't checked my home email for quite some time, enough to generate quite a few hundred email, mostly for TR.
ive unticked the email notifcation option, but still getting email coming though. Im going to assume the subscription function is over riding that & only the selected threads that are set to "instant notification" are the cause. I went to delete my thread subscriptions manually, but theres like 600-700 still pending after a few goes & no "delete all" button. Am i on the right track here with the causes of the emails & if so, are you able to throw a button in so its possible to deleate in one step?

thanks bud

That will teach you not to check your mail. Someone else had this problem, but I don't remember what the fix was.

the option in the profile is like a way to automatically subscribe to threads, unchecking it will mean that you wont subscribe to future threads.

for all past threads you have to turn them off manually.
its a PITA, but really its only the most recent ones that you need to worry about, most of the old threads are dea and wont be replied to anyways, and when they do they you can turn them off when they come up, this is what i had to do as well..

Seahorsedreams will become famous soon enough
I think I was the other person having that trouble. Didn't realize it had to be done manually. Thought I was losing my mind..... kind of like the fact I cannot send out any pager messages. I tick the box (or untick it... forget which it was at the moment), press save but when I go back in it doesn't change my new setting.
