FireFox Search Plugin
This is for all of us who use Firefox on a
PC .
Whoever doesnt run firefox. go to
www.getfirefox.com and try it, its free
Anyways, how would you like to be able to type something into the little search box on the top right side of firefox and have it search
Talking Reef ? Sounds to good to be true. well its not.
Click on the link below and simply double click it. It will do all the work for you..
http://www.talkingreef.com/misc/talkingreef-FF.exe
If you have any problems post it here and i will try my best to fix it. Also after you click on the file you will only see it for less than a second.. I hope everyone enjoy's it and finds it useful.

heh, same issue as the Flock plugin (which worked for me in Firefox 2 by the way), you're missing the "-FF" in the link.

Actually i thought about that and i downloaded 2.0 and it works fine for some reason. I noticed that the files they produce are .xml but for some reason my files are working as well.
And i must say Firefox 2.0 is pretty cool

Yeah, FF2 will convert older .src plugins to the new opensearch xml format on the fly.
Rob, if ever feel like putting up a simple php page to query common words out of the posts we could have search term autocompletion in FF2 as well -- although that would probably make a nice spike in the mysql cpu usage.

but if there is a lot of interest in this search thing we can expand its capabilities..
