I have never worked with acrylic but I am sure that you need a special glue called Weld On. I think it softens the surfaces so they bond together when they re-solidify.

Whatever you do dont make it see through because then your light shines into your tank if you run a reverse light cycle with the HOB fuge. I covered mine in my daughters black construction paper...lol

You don't have to worry about copyrights or pattens unless you are making something to sell. So just copy it right to spec...lol

if i do it well i wouldnt mind making a buck. with my biocube, it will go on the back and the back is painted black from the factory. i will have it set so theat my MH will shine into it, or it will be on 24/7 and made from black acrylic.

it will be about 4" in depth, 15 " wide, and 14" tall roughly.

this is going to be a tank that hange off the back of my 14 gallon biocube, the big black thing on the left is a tube that goes into the 14 with a pump on it to push water into the fuge, the water then exits via the overflow back into the 14. im planning on adding at least 1.5 gallons to the system this way.
