    Sebastapistes cyanostigma

    some of you have no doubt seen pix of our scorpionfish collection. here's our newest acquisition...meet Sebastapistes cyanostigma (yellow-spotted sorpionfish):



    this little fellow is a bit less than 2", and will max out at about 3"-4". we've been looking for this species for quite awhile, and patience and diligence paid off. the fish is still very new, and needs to color-up a bit. it's currently eating live ghosties with gusto.
