it should be ok ... you would be amazed at the predicaments that an anemone can get into and not be hurt.
I'm not sure what happened. Yesterday it was almost closed up and then this morning its foot was released but 1/4 of the tentacles were pinched under a rock. Is it bad?

I agree with Bobby.

Was it yours that was not wanting to plant its foot? It it was, did it ever have its foot planted and remain in one place for more than 24 hrs?

Ya it stayed in one place for almost a week. it just kept going deeper into the hole.
I also tried feeding it a couple times and it just would not take it.
You're just going to have to watch it & maintain sterling water quality. I'd do a 3-5% water change daily. I'd hold off on feeding if he isn't accepting food. You could try basting him with whatever you feed the tank. Don't add extra, just gently squirt same his way. This is the only thing I feed my gigantic BTA.
anems are quite hardy., so those two rips on the side, Im assuming your saying it opened up due to moving around & tugging on its own body, however how did it rip in the first place, any idea?
