Params look fine, but when stars start falling apart, that's usually the end of them.
I've got a 20" Green Serpent Star and just recently he has been eating less and the tips of his tentacles have been looking withered. Just today i found a 1" piece of one of his tentacles has broken off. Is he sick or, maybe molting?
My parameters are:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrite - 0
Nitrate - 0
Phosphate - 0
Salinity - 1.026
PH - 8.4
Alk - 10
Ca - 420
Mg - 1320

I agree with Pearson its not looking to good for your star. There must be something he is not happy with.

There is no elevator to success in marine tanks. You have to take the stairs.

Well, I put him back in the sump of the DT. (I had moved him to the new, FOWLR) and he seems to be doing better! I thought he would be happier in the larger tank, but, it seems he's more comfortable with the sump. Maybe the FOWLR was to clean for him?
