Hey guys, mISS YOU!! ITS been a rough year (will be a year 8/5 since lost mom). Its the living that I am having trouble with. You begin to realize how DIFFERENT people are and have to find a way to make it work. I you are a praying person, please pray for guidance in some decisions that I have to make. If you are not a praying person, do it for me anyway, please!!!

WOW, same date! Lets pray for eachother!! The living are making me crazy, not realizing the gitfs that we are given, how thankful that we should be, that EVERTHING is a gift!

Yes, lets do that! Anniversaries are the hardest. My dad's b-day was 8/2, he went home on 8/5 and he and my mom were married on 8/29. August is a tough month.

I hear you. This is actually one of my pet peeves. People concentrate too much on what is not right and ignore the gifts right under their nose. Our old minister used to tell a story about a comic strip. The one guy asks the other "How are you doing?" The second guy replies "Well, ok under the circumstances." And the first guy asks "What are you doing under them?" He used it to illustrate that we choose how we react to the trials and tribulations that come our way.

It's good to hear from you Laura and I will keep you in my prayers also. Many of us do take for granted many things, until what we expect as a "given" is not so.

It gives a greater appreciation for what gifts we have been blessed with and a greater understanding and compassion for others. I hope that your sorrow grows a little lighter with each passing day.
