Not much eats them as they reuse the nematocysts from the aptasia to defend themselves. They will simply starve out after there is no more food for them.
I prefer Aptasia X over Joe's juice.
I want to try to use berghia to control/eliminate the aptasia in my 30-gal reef tank. I've for a couple hermits (small red claw), a brittle star and bristleworms (not fireworms) I'm picking away when I do my weekly search to destroy (the ones longer than an inch anyway). Lot's of little hermits and snails, too.
Thanks!
I've heard that AptasiaX is not a very good product when compared to Joes. Any thoughts there?

lets not Bullsh^t, apts is a major concern for reefkeepers if allowed to spread, as they take over quicker than you know what!
in my opinion apt X & joes juice is exactly the same sh^t. it disolves most of the cells of aptasia before they can spread further. But they are sneaky resealiant mother fu$kers that dont need light/ and or food to reproduce. rabbits is the only association id compare them too.
ether way, fry the ones you see, sooner, much rather than later. or else you reach a point where giving up & starting again is far cheaper!

i'm my apts worst nightmare - mainly because i take such GLEE in destroying them. one of out local big stores had a couple tanks overrun with them - i didn't know they got so BIG! i don't even go in the front door any more. i give our great locally owned - store a little more leeway.
