So, it has been a few weeks since I have cleared out the tank. I have not seen any regrowth of culpera back in the tank though the glass sides still have normal growth of a thin layer of hair algae though never enough to actually become hair algae. More like a 5 o'clock shadow. The little bit of chaeto is also gone as far as I can tell. I have yet to have tested phosphates since removing the rocks. I will do my weekly water change tomorrow and test before and after at that point.
On other notes, I have bought a 100 pack of frag plugs, a frag plug shelf, and a fragging kit (sounds like I am attemping to swear). I will be mounting my frags that have been getting kicked around for the past few weeks. Hopefully the acropora will take well. Also the greenhorn frags and a few branches I frag off should take off. I will do a first attempt to frag the large mushroom leather. Done some reading on that suggesting to just cut the outer ring and mount. Not exactly sure how that all works but should be easy enough from the youtubes I have watched. Now just to find some local buyers. With all the various types I have, I could start many tanks given the variety I have. I am looking for used tanks as well. Not too big, 38 gallon or maybe 54/55g. I would like to have a larger tank for display and turn the 20g Nano into a frag farm. We'll see.
