    kenya tree

    Do kenya trees typically drop frags on there own?? Noticed a small piece floating around in my tank this morning!

    Yes, in fact, they're notorious for it. I've been trying for a solid year to get it all out of my tank.

    yes this is a form of asexual reproduction typical for octocoral's some aquarist purposely block light for some time so they will drop off some bud's to keep the coral alive. This is also normal in healthy specimen's as well. Congrats on your free frag.

    Quarantine quarantine quarantine your tank's will thank you and so will your corals u'll also avoid a lot of aggravation with pests, predators, or disease's that come on coral's or live rock or fish
