    Hi Missy,

Things are looking good. If you want, you can get your pics to show up in your thread by using the IMG Code. when you run your cursor over an image on Photobucket (PB) a drop down windo appears and gives you several choices to copy code. choosing the IMG Code and posting here gives you the picture like this...

This is rather small in size. Did you resize them in PB?

Thanks guys, does is look too much like a wall of rock instead of a reef?

Dick, I did resize them with a program that came with my camera becasue my internet is so horrible right now that it was a miracle I was able to upload at all. There is a company putting up a new tower out here in a couple mths and then I should have better service.

This is my hope for fish, can anyone tell me if this sounds good or you see any problems with this list, 2 clowns, 2 cardinals, 1 royalgramma, 1 gobi, 1 bellus angel, 1 longnose hawkfish, 1 sohal tang, 1 regal tang. I also really like the longfin bannerfish but I guess he's not reef safe.

    Guys, any opinions? Am I overstocking? 2 clowns, 2 cardinals, 1 royalgramma, 1gobi, 1 bellus angel, 1 longnose hawkfish, 1 sohal tang, 1 regal tang? Tank is 150g + 30g + 20g, great skimmer, 130lbs LR.

I would say you are closing in on capacity. Are the Tangs getting a long?

I don't have the tangs yet, they are on my wishlist. Right now I have 2 clowns, 2 cardinals, 1 royalgramma and 1 gobi. I was hoping still to add 1 bellus angel, 1 longnose hawkfish, and the two tangs but I don't want to run into problems. I have a great skimmer but I have been told that I don't have enought liverock 130lbs, tank is 150+30+20. Any suggestions?

If I was you I would stick to one tang it would cause less problems.

Thanks, what if I skip the regal tang but added a longfin banner fish and fed him well? Would the bannerfish nip at coral if fed well?

Dick, did you see a problem with those two tangs in particular?

It may still nip at your corals but if you feed it well and keep it fat it may not. You can always try and if it don't work out take it back to the LFS.

Thanks, I would be happy to give up the tang for the bannerfish if he was a good boy. Maybe I should start another thread titled bannerfish in reef and see what response I get.

That would be a good idea that way you can get more on the topic of the bannerfish. Just make sure that he is compatible with your other fish.

I was reading that there is sometimes some confusion re the bannerfish, the Heniochus diphreutes is reef safe but the Heniochus acuminatus is not. Can anyone confirm this?

Many websites say that is true or that Heniochus diphreutes is reef safe with caution. I had one back in the 80's but didn't have corals and they are too big for my current tanks so I can't offer any experience.

Missy here is a tutorial on how to http://www.talkingreef.com/forums/ge...t-picture.html.

I think your aquascape with the caves etc looks fine. Recently I have been enjoying seeing pictures of bigger tanks where the aquascape is in islands with open space between. If you like to play with redoing stuff you could try that and see if you like it.

Thanks CarmieJo, do you remember much about him, did he have personality, was he easy to keep, what did you feed him, did he get along with everyone else in the tank?

I have seen a few like that too, very nice. I just worry about stressing everyone out if |I move things around. I like most of my rock but compared to others tanks it does look like a bit of a wall. I think I am going to start another thread re the bannerfish and see if anyone actually has one in a reef.

Missy I don't remember him as being a personality fish as much as a show fish. He was beautiful and swam languidly about the tank. He was pretty peaceful. I gave him to a friend when we moved here about 6 months after I got him. I seem to recall he ate frozen brine which I would not recommend feeding today but we didn't really know that it was not very nutritious then.

oh wow, so thats what going off-site looks like. I thank you for the experience

Current animals look good. You shouldn't have said they were small so quickly, we could have played along abit longer so ampage thought he needed some new glasses..hehe.

Your tank looks good, im not a fan of wall structures, but each to their own kiddo, if it works for you & you like it, run with it!
