Does your unit have a backflush valve? Sounds like it might be open. Are you getting a lot of water out of the waste water line?
Even if the pressure is low, you should still be getting water out of the faucet.
I have put together the RODI unit but now All I get from the output off the DI is a Drip every second.
And hardly any thing from the faucet. I do not have a pressure gauge as of yet but it's on order.
What could be wrong?

Did you install a self piercing saddle valve on the drain for the waste water to leave? The person that decided that would be their job on my unit did not back off the piercing valve to allow the waste water to pass and this caused the same symptoms you are describing.
Just a thought.
Excellent call. I made the same mistake when installing the icemaker in my freezer, LOL.

After driving myself nuts as to what the heck---I asked my husband if he backed it off and his response was "UHHH I don't think so". Very simple fix.
my supply vavle is open, when i turn off the output my unit fills up with water, my backflush valve is closed.
when i open the output valve i get some pressure but then it starts to drip one the pressure is gone.
House pressue is around 50psi
The supply valve being the line coming off the water line from the wall. When you say turn off the output are you talking about shutting the line down from filling up a bucket?? If that is what I am understanding, try tuning the system off and unscrew each chamber, pour off water to under the threads, dry the threads and the re-tighten. One of the canisters could not be sealing properly and could cause the canisters not to fill correctly.
May not work, just a thought.
It's possible the RO membrane isn't seated properly. Is there a lot of water coming out of the waste line?

Yeah when i open the flush valve i get alot of water comming out, I do have a pressure gauge and it shows 50 psi
i also have a holding tank, but takes a couple of days to fill it. I also bought a booster pump but it can't keep the pressure at 75psi without having to closed the valve.
Any Ideas?
Okay - as I posted before: Check the self-piercing saddle valve that is on the drain pipe where the waste water from the RO unit goes. The saddle valve has the nut and little turn handle on top that you pierced the pipe with, the turn handle should be backed off once the line is pierced. The nut should stay tightened, just back off the little handle.
A way to check to see if this is the prob.
Shut the water supply to the system off.
Unhook the waste water line from the piercing valve and sit in a bucket.
Unhook the water line going into the pressure tank and sit in a bucket.
Turn the supply water back on. If you have water freely running out of the waste water line and water comingout of the tank line then turn off the system.
Get a flash light and look into the hole where the waste water line go into the saddle valve - if you can see the piercing valve inside the hole then the drain is shut off.
If this is the case, back off the piercing valve until you have free flow through the hole.
Hook all back up and try again.
If this is not the problem:
Turn off the system and open the RO compartment.
Remove the membrane, check to make sure all gaskets are in place.
Re-install the membrane making sure you feel the pop as it seats into place, it should be hard to seat.
Hook all back up and try again.
Let us know what happens.

I'm not using the self piercing valve on the wast line, have it draingin into my laundry pump.
But i'll check it how you said to do it
Okay - if all of the lines are hooked up correctly then check the RO membrane. Remove it and then re-insert it. Also, check all of the canisters to make sure there is no breaking the seal. I had one that was wet around the thread when I put it on and it caused an issue.
Good luck.
Rhonda - using a self piercing valve on the waste line is probably not the best approach. The hole it makes in the drain pipe is too small and you are restricting the waste water flow. You could replace that with a drain saddle.

Sounds like you have a new system, so let's assume the membrane is not clogged. What is the gpd capacity of your membrane?
When you say you have 50 psi - where are you measuring that? After the prefilters? or somewhere else in your house?
What is your waste water to purified water ratio? Should be about 4 to 1. If you are getting lots more waste water it could be something as simple as a missing flow restrictor.
If you have a flush valve check to make sure it is closed.
What is your water temperature?
