    Starting small

I have made it to the Wonderful workld of Reef keeping.

In the past year I have been exposed to the world of Salt water/reef keeping. And Finally I have gotten a tank. I is a 3 gallon Deco kit by Oscar Enterprises,Inc.

    This kit includes
    The Tank
Rapids Power Filter PF-80 Filters 80 GPH
    Compact Fluorescent Perch-Light Fixture 18W
Dual Reef Compact Fluorescent lamps- 50/50 14,000K Actinic & 7,400K Daylight
And a small booklet to give you a start.

The tank is up and runnig with water from a 50 gal tank that is just finishing it's diatom cycle. I have been helping with the stocking and general upkeep of a 14 gal Biocube and a the starting of the 50 gal. Can't wait to get things started with my Pico reef.

I would like to take this time and thank Mr Nick (boyesreef) for all his help and support with getting this tank started. Without him I would not know a frag from a hunk of lr.

It is set up near the "nursery" part of the Living room so when she is old enough she can watch everything while going to sleep

The Great and powerful Nick says he belives it is a bristle worm, he has a few in his 50 gal and they look the same. So we are going with that unless some thinks something else.

I agree with Nick, it's a bristleworm. They are good guys.
