Yep, aptasia. In low or no light, they grow clear like that. Nuke that bad boy
I will be posting a picture soon but I was browsing the internet and I found a picture of aiptasia that looks exactly like what I have except mine is clear... I found it living in the sump that I just got and I have no idea what it is but it isn't brown at all, I can almost see through it. Here is the picture I found, same long tentacles and bulbous bottom as the picture just clear...
Updated with pictures of my tank...
Keep in mind the first picture is NOT my tank, but the second is.

I was reading some web-sites and they say that if you try and remove or crush them a piece will likely be left behind and they will just continue to reproduce. Is there something that will eat them?
That is why Joe's Juice is so popular. The api eats it willingly and it works from the inside out.

Ewwww...I fear you are already into for a long battle with that creepy stuff. You'll spend an hour trying to zap as much as you can, and just when your thinking "wow I finally got all of it" the next day it'll be right back there flowing in the current.
Yep, they can be a real problem. Butterfly fish eat them. Particularly the Copperband Butterfly, but they're extremely difficult to keep.
Bhergia nudibranchs eat them exclusively, but they're expensive and take a while to do their thing.

Peppermint Shrimp also eat aptasia.

Joes Juice could hurt other corals if you get it on them. Otherwise in moderate amounts it won't change your parameters.

In my experience with Joe's Juice (extensive) I've accidently squirted on several other corals with no adverse effects.
