Hmm, I haven't heard that one before. Maybe because Joe's Juice is a less messy, effective alternative?

Have you done the hot silicone treatment? If so, how do you heat the silicone and administer it?

well, I did it. My first aptasia murder. It was at the point where I really had no choice

My fears were realized, I think they went down screaming! I did just two and sucked their little mushy bodies out with a med dropper

Rape & pillage i say, JJ is pretty effective & bang, quick fix off the shelf for us lazy folk.

Keep up with it, what starts with one, ends up becoming hundreds if left unchecked & they can hide like crazy out of site - cause its only then do you realise when the baby medusa have grown up & had kids of there own that your in the dark without a flashlight ! lol

My LFS guy swears a copper banded butterfly will totally remove ALL aiptasia from my tank in a couple weeks---and then eat my feather dusters!!!

But because I have about 50 of the little buggers growing everywhere in my 125 I think I better do something, ( still think they are kinda pretty-waving in the current and absorbing my coral). I'm picking up my wild caught copper banded butterfly TODAY. I know, I know - stay away from them, bad fish and all that, but ya gotta take a chance sometimes. All you can do is hope you get a good fish and hope he'll eat the stuff. I'll let ya know what happens.

It is kinda kool to go back and see your earlier experiences, isn't it? I saw a fellow member of ORCA post a WTS for a Harlequin shrimp, I think it's a male... is that something that would interest you, or is it still too soon? I understand how difficult it is to deal with losing a loved one...
