    Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend the last TRL, but I did listen to it. I have an important follow up to the "what side does the washer go on" topic.

    IT GOES ON THE FLANGE SIDE OF THE BULKHEAD!

    This is absolutely critical to having a leak free system. You can install a bulkhead two ways, with the flange (wider part) in the tank, or out...doesn't matter. If you place the flange on the outside, but put the washer on the inside "wet" side of the tank, the water will follow the treads and leak out. The same is true if you attempt to put the washer on the outside if the flange is in the tank. The flange and washers are buddies, please dont separate them!

    * Culturing Tang Heaven Macro algae.
    * * Tang Heaven Instructions
    FWIW, the product name "Tang Heaven" is a trade mark of indo-Pacific Sea Farms and is not a common name of any particular macro algae. IPSF uses this moniker for several of their macro algaes, including Tang Heaven Red (Gracilaria parvispora), Tang Heaven Green (Ulva sp.), and Tang Heaven Gold (Sargassum sp.). More official "fine print" information regarding the "Tang Heaven" trade mark can be found at the bottom of their order page.

    Smile hair algae

    I do pretty good by covering my tank to black out and not feed fish for one day , works for me don't like chemicals unless I have to use them.
