    Mystery Anemone PLEASE HELP I.D.

    Hello!

So...About 8months ago I bought this from a friend of mine and he called it some sort of rock anemone, hes wasnt sure exactly.....I cant find anything like it on the net...Can anyone help me?

Its beautifull and has grown almost 3 x's its orignal size...it doesnt move or sting that I am aware of and my small perc hosts in it.

We thought at one point it was a tulip anemone, but we have some of those also and they look nothing alike....

looks kind of like a long tentacle, but the base is making me think its a leather of some sort (but its not). i have never seen an anemone with a base that big.

only bubble tips get bubbles on the tentacles, sounds to me like you got a bubble tip there.

the lfs close to me has a bubble tip that looks just like that but is massive like a foot and a half across and stands up alot of times a foot off the rock its attached too . but if it's anything like his it stings he's constantlt trying to sell it to me because it's always killing his acro frags when it goes walking.

I agree, looks like a green BTA to me. Nice looking anemone, and even better price

well as far as I know it does not sting anything but the onyx does like to host it and it has moved maybe twice since the whole time I have had it...and even then it moves like an inch and then ends up moving back....
I have a gbta and it looks nothing like it!!! the anemone itself is a dark purple and never changes color and just the itty bitty tips of this are a BRIGHT green...the pics really dont do it justice.....Thanks guys!
