How much do you need to drop your temperature by? There are a variety of different nano chillers out there but I don't have one fo my NC24. I know that Renee has chillers on her nanos so hopefully she will chime in here soon.

i would like to drop my temperature 2-3 degrees. its currently between 82-84.. my temp fluctuates a lot during day and nigh times. my heater is set at 80. i lost one of my clowns to ick and i think its because the temp changes to much. i would like to keep it around 79.
Curious, how do you know your heater is 80 degrees? If you are going by a marking on the heater, I would not rely on that. Hobby level heaters are notorious for not being accurate with any markings in degrees on them. I've found that the only way to set a heater to the temperature I want is to have an accurate thermometer in the water and turn the control knob up or down and watching the light go on and off at the desired temp.
