Tell us a little about the tank. How big is it, how long has it been et up, what kind of lighting and flow, are you feeding it, and if s, what?
I have 2 rose buble tips, one is very small only 2 or 3 inches, the other is about 4 or 5. My question is why doe they look more like a long tenticle anemone then a bubble tip. they always look thing and stretched out. I have had the small one for about 8 months and the larger one about 4 months, so its not like they are new to the tank. What am I doing wrong?
It's not the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean, but it takes a long time to get to London in a row boat.

It is in 125g tank, it was combined with my 65g that was running for over a yr, the 125g was running about 2 months. The anemones have both moved themselve not to far from one of my korilla fans, not directly infront of, but a nice movement. I run 160w t5 actinics 160w 10k actinics, and sometimes I turn on my 150w 14k halide. With any of the lighting the rbt looks exatly the same. I hand feed maybe once a month, but seems to not even need that as its possition is good for catching, mysis, brine, and other coral/invert foods .

Hmm, I'm not sure then. Mine has bubbles 90% of the time. Usualy if it streches out, I feed it and it goes back to havingbubble tips. i would expect such behavior to be a response to wanting light or food, but I don't have any hard evidence to support that.

Mine rarely has bubbles. It is healthy, hosts a maroon who feeds it, and gets fed a chunk of shrimp or other seafood 2x a week.

Oh, just wanted to say I didn't mean to imply it wasn't healthy because it doesn't have bubbles. I have seen plenty that were perfectly fine and had no or few bubbles.
Here's mine, since we're shairing

i would post a pic of mine, but it has moved itself halfway to the back of the tank, and I can not get a good pic.

Nice RBTAs Carmie and David. I just found one I was willing to pay the money for. Not because it was big, beautiful and worth the money but because it was purchased at the right price at the ORCA (Orlando club) auction for $45. YES!!!
It had been in the 135 about 3 days when this pic was taken. It's settling in nicely.

Mine was a cute little fella like that. It looks like your bubble tip has bubbles!

I've noticed the bubbles come and go. He's also on the move. Coming right up the face of the LR wall. Beautiful Anemone, hope he doesn't disapear into the rocks.
