Patience in my case was a forced hand. The LFS owner said that I was "over thinking" the tank too much. Maybe he was right. Being away from the tank is a good thing, just hope that the automatic top off system that I installed is working! I will update and post pictures (of my rocks!) when I return home. Thanks for the support!

hehe I have been watching rocks for the last month, a day has yet to go by that I don't find something new wavin at me from a nook or cranny. My pods just started showing up last week, live sand is still fairly new, who knows what will pop up next!

    Life always finds a way!

Added one clown, automatic top off mechanism (works great). Temperature is fairly stable between 80 and 82. All natural filtration with about 15 pounds of LR. Calcium climbing to needed levels. No corals yet, but thinking about it. The BTAs are still hanging on, but bearly. Either they are dying or coming back to life, only time will tell. Some tentacles are coming back, but they are damaged from the split. Can't figure out how to add a picture or I would. Hope everyone is doing well. My live rock looks great by the way! Never thought I would like it so much.

    Sincerely,

    Ed.
