Contest Information:
The contest for each month will be open on the 1st of each month.
You must be a TalkingReef forum member with at least 25 MEANINGFUL posts in order to enter the contest.
All contest entries will be accepted until 11:59 PM on the 15th of each month.
The voted poll will be opened on the 16th of each month and close on the last day of the month.
The winner will be announced in the first podcast of each month, posted onto the front page of the website, and will also be submitted into that podcast’s thread.
The winner of the picture of the month contest will receive :
1.Contest winner Badge under their member name.
2.A detailed thread inside of the Picture of the Month contest winner forum.
3.The winner may also submit a POTM Spotlight Article, or an interview with Rob about their specimen (optional).
Rules and Regulations
Contestants may submit up to 2 photos (700X500 is suggested) of their tank of desired inhabitant(s). They should give a detailed description of the of the tank or inhabitant including requirements (lighting, flow, ect.), special needs, and their experience with that particular species.
Winners of the contest are not eligible to re-enter the winning image for the life of the contest, however after 3 months they are eligible to submit another image that they own. Yes, this means that the image MUST BE YOURS and the coral/fish/invert/aquarium must be in YOUR care or had been in your care at the time the photo was taken.

There must be at least 4 entries for the voted poll or the entries will roll over to the next month.
Before the polls are open for voting the committee will narrow down the entries to 6 entries. Those entries will then be submitted into a thread for everyone to vote.
All rules are subject to change, any changes will be posted here, or in the contest thread.
