You must have built something to push the space bar repeatedly. Or do you have cheat codes or whats the secret? By the time I get to 30000 I'm thinking spontaneous combustion in my forearm is about to happen

Im right handed, so i swapped or rather crossed my left hand over my right to move the D-pad.
Its all about covering your angles. This game is quite nasty, it pushes you into the red by dropping variable speed & sized asteroids everywhere. Forget trying to beat what the game throws at you, (this is going to sound weird) instead bring the game on to your level by playing smart.
Create a steady stream of projectiles across the page, once you hit the sides, perform a switch back (bout an inch) then continue the stream the other way. Eg. Starting from left to right.... shooting constantly ......> wall <....... (inch left) ......> (back to wall) <.......... then back to the other side & repeat.

This will take care of those that fall directly after you explode the ones before them, not to mention getting 70% of those small b@st@rds that fall down the edges.

I never cheat.

LOL I'm with you Salty, Gimme some MW2, TF2, L4D (1 and 2) But the old school asteroids was better left in the arcade back in the day. That Nano Build is tempting though.
