Great read. I can't wait to see your building. I also am very impressed with your geothermal cooling. I want to see it closer, so I can learn more about how it is power and you did your swiches ect.....

I have summers off, so if you need help one day let me know or don't mind some company.

    Thanks, Dekon.

    Been getting some awesome corals.

The Sun Coral, Tubastrea. Did anyone know that Tubastrea is found along the FL Atlantic coast? It is and FL FWC is about to allow collection of Tubastrea beginning in July of this year. They consider it an invasive species. My collectors have a large plot of it plugged into there GPS unit. So I will be getting Tubastrea in good numbers soon.

I was given a 2 polyp frag of the ever popular Purple People Eater (PPE) Paly about 9 months ago. It has grown nicely in my system. Now, numbers 27 polyps. As the polyps grow out onto the surrounding rock, I’ll frag it from time to time.

    This Bloodlust Acan is awesome.

    More later.

    Hi Dick (from michiganreefers.com)
Your thread is amazing! And I thought my build was huge...lol
I don't know how I got your email, but I'm glad I did.( sent you an email about my build)
I can't wait until you get this up and running, we come down to Florida a lot to scuba dive. I wouldn't mind making a pit stop to witness this first hand and pick some corals up for my tanks.

    Hi David,

You might have gotten it when you bought the Level Loc ATO in Jan, ’09. You’re welcome to stop by anytime you come to FL. Just let me know when you’re coming.

Some more eye candy coming out of quarantine.

Blue Acid Red Chalice about 6 x 4 inches.

Wellsophyllia (Trachophyllia in the "Corals of the World” book series) about 4” across when opened fully.

A really nice Aussie Scrolling Hammer about 5” across.

    A Paintball Splatter Scollymia.

They called this one a Christmas Favia.

One of the troughs. I’m still playing with different lights. So far I’ve got two 4’ Coral Life Power Compacts and two 3’ TEK T5s. Next I’m going to get two Ice Cap 4’ x 8 bulb T5 retrofit fixtures. Yikes this is expense!!!

    Happy reefing.

LMAO!!! So far I haven’t offered any of these for sale so, right now I have little money!!!

Here’s a couple more to drool over. At least I drool.

I didn’t mark down the names of these other than Acans. I’ll have to back track and find out.

Need to buy a bandsaw with a diamond blade soon. I think I’m going to see if I can sell these big Acans without cutting them before i chop them up. It seems a shame to cut them.

    Later...

    Wow

I just finished reading through all 16 pages of this awesome build! OUTSTANDING!!!! I love what you have done. I would love to visit you some time when I come down to visit FL (I live in Michigan - as COLD or colder than WI) lol. We usually come down once a year and visit Marco Island, FL which is on the other side, but it would only be about a 3 1/2 hr drive. LOVE your corals!
