    Rhonda,

If you brought your gorilla with you, he could frighten all the SCARY LIZARDS away.

Cold??? Yes it's cold here. The house water supply (well) froze Saturday night. I didn't find out until I was in the shower half finished when the shower stopped providing me with hot water or any water at all. I hate when that happens!

To prevent that from happening last night, I let an outside fauset run all night. Here's what the yard looked like this morning.

    Bring your snuggies.

As soon as weather warms, I'll get started. Funny, I grew up (actually, I never grew up. Refuse to!) in WI with all it has to offer in winter weather sports, ice fishing (why do they call it ice fishing? We don't catch ice.), snowmobiling, skiing, hunting various critters (deer being my favorite), tolerating all sorts of temps and weather anomalies all those years. I've lived in FL 4 years and find it intolerable at a WI balmy 32*F. Oh dear, I've become a woos, I'm afraid.

The only gorilla I have is the 70lb puppy we acquired and you would kill me if I brought him.

He has ruined $10,000 worth of landscape in three months. I am just glad he can't get inside the pool fence too!

That puppy would be history if he destroyed 10 Gs of my landscaping.

I haven't seen 32 in a couple weeks. Cant wait till it hits 45 so I can put shorts on again. Cant complain though, pulling some nice trout and salmon through the ice this year.

i haven't seen 32 in a month or so. that would be a ten degree minimum increase from what we got now. we didn't even see two digits yesterday, and it was negative 1 this morning.
we are all on the long road to our dream tanks, im going slow and enjoying the journey!

I am low balling the amt as my husband would tell you - I am hoping he will out grow his destruction stage really quick.
Woopin him does nothing - he is huge and really don't care. He eats a shrub a day! He eats rocks!!

Yes, we provide him with chew toys and bones.

You mean southern California Cold pfft. Northern I mean way northern gets just as cold as your state during normal weather patterns. Man I sure wish I was there. I am sick of the freakin city. I think where my cabin is supposed to get down to 25 or below it sometimes gets so cold ice grows up from the ground. I think its pretty fun to step on. I am supposed to move there in about a year I cant wait.

First peek at trough frag system.

OK, long over due but finally making headway. This is the first of progress pics. More to follow as events unfold.

120 gallon fiberglass tubs, probably 100 gallon usable.

I think I’m going to go a block higher. Need to get a Rubbermaid tub under each for sumps, more volume and macro growth. One of these troughs will be dedicated for LS production. Hopefully I can find a cheap source for Aragonite. If not, it will be for more frag production.

    It’s a start!

Very funny V - my neighbor is an undercover narc officer and he has told me how they determine on their helicopter night rides which homes should be checked out due to the "glow" the roof puts off from the florescent lighting running during the day.

He made a joke a while back about the "blue glow" that radiates from our windows in the evening hours - and wanted to know if I really had hydroponic tanks running over here Not a half bad idea!!

Absolutely! I would be greatly disappointed if you didn’t. Would you be bringing the kids?

Kaymanager, Enjoyed chatting with you, too. No promises on my advise being credible on either running your tank or your wife. It’s especially helpful when the wife is easy to get along with and adores you like mine does. It takes years of honest and sincere molding to achieve and maintain the kind of balance I enjoy within my marriage.

Not sure molding is the right word but, you know what I mean.

I think it took years of Sue "molding" you my sweet man!! Just picking at you Dick. Sue is wonderful and you are wonderful to her. Love you both dearly.
