    Cooler Nights Are Here

Just a reminder that cooler nights are here. If you are like us this time of the year we open our windows and the temp in the house falls overnight. To avoid stressing your fish with temperature swings make sure that your heater is plugged in and is working.

I haven't been able to OPEN my windows for the last month! We are anxiously awaiting the two days of balmy 60 degree weather they are predicting tomorrow and monday.

LOL! It was so hot here last week that we had to turn the AC back on! But it is going to go down to 50 tonight.

Yeah, still waiting for that cool weather I couldn't tell you the last time we used the hot tub. Too hot and humid.

That's nothing, it is -2ºC (28ºF) in Edmonton tonight. No snow yet (miracle!) but I started noticing the heater light in the sump about a month ago. And to think 4 months ago I was keeping frozen bottles of water on hand in case the tank decided to start going north of 86ºF again during the heat wave we saw this summer.
