    Id Red worm on my new Zoa What is this

    Any help here would be great... i dont know what this is but i got a polyp pack from drsmith and fosters and all of the other coral has opened up could this lil guy be the reason any info would be nice if futher reading is availible on this guy it would be appriciated

    sorry for bad typing i was nearly asleep when i took one last look in the tank and grabbed this guy...

    Can't really tell from the pic, but bristleworms are commonly red/orange, and it wouldn't be unusual to find one. They're beneficial detirivores, generaly speaking.

    well the only thing diff from the photo is its crisper its just a red worm not definite marks or anything

    no there are no distinguishing characteristics i cant find it anywhere online. it looks almost smooth all the way around thats why i ruled out bristle worms off the back i could be wrong though, better safe then sorry.

    srry i can not get a better pic then that its not very long, about the length of the dia. of a penny or dime, plus im not very good with this camera.

    I think its a ribbon worm with further research cause there are no bristles on the side what do you think

    Move the camera back from the subject. You are trying to take a close up and the camera is not capable of focusing at that distance. The worm will turn out smaller in the picture but, probably more recognizable.
