Down Under Frag Swap - Near Raleigh NC

Down Under Saltwater Fish and Corals is having their 2nd Anniversary Bash Saturday August 18th beginning at 1:00. There will be a frag swap, used equipment, food and raffles. The store is on Hwy 70 in Garner and is only about 15 minutes from doentown Raleigh. Here are directions.

The next Down Under Frag Swap is this Saturday, October 20th! It's a great change to pick up stuff and meet other reefkeepers.

Well the frag swap was great as usual

!!!! We had about 50 reefers show up

!!!! I had some really great deals lined up and they all fell thru

We still had a great time and can't wait for the next one in two months

I picked up a frogspawn

and some unhappy green mushrooms.

Remember my monticap frag that bleached? A couple of my good friends here

offered to send me a replacement. However I have a local buddy that gave me lots of frags to start my tank with. He'd given me a monticap back when I only had PC's and it just slowly faded away and I'd asked him if I could get a frag from him and he said sure. I was telling him about the digi that Pearson sent me and how it it turning purple and he'd said he would like a piece of it. So I was able to frag off a little stick. So for once I had something to offer him in return.

Pearson, hope you enjoy the frags. that pink with purple polyp monti goes for $80 per inch online (at the only place i could find them, but i lost the site link).

Oh yeah, I coundn't be happier with them. I'll have to throw up some pictures (although the zoas are in the nano).
